Wanted to do this for a few years now, was my first time and really enjoyed it. Walked around Bleheim before, but never realised how hilly it was. Weather was cracking and a loved the route.

compare the elite times for this to the oxford town and gown run, a fast flat 10k; they're very similar.
great fun though, superb location, makes a great day out. well worth the effort.

Thank you for such a well organised event, everything was provided that we needed and was easy to find. The scenery was beautiful and encouragement amongst runners and spectators was brilliant.

the reason for the large number of late entries and non-finishers is being looked at by other agencies.

This was my fist time doing this race and totally loved it,
The only thing I would say with the weather as hot as it was one water station is not enough for a 7k for beginners
two would have been better or a message somewhere to ask stewards if needed
All in all a lovely experience

A good course, the hill climbs were hard going. Great to see so many runners of all ages participating

only 2 adverse comments
1 parking - it took us 45mins to leave the event - which seemed a little crazy
2. a couple of people were running with their phones playing distorted tinny music. It was really unpleasant and spoiled the atmosphere. Could you ask people to use ear phones or something so as not to spoil it for the rest of us?

Would be nice is there were staggered start times for the 7.4 k. It was extemely crowded for the first few km of the run.

We loved it. Difficult by times due to hills but I'd rather have them then not as it excuses the walking. We took the pram around which was hard but the run is a very friendly, open run. Lots of kids running which was great. Even the toddler in the pram got a medal at the finish line. :)
